Rod Smith

Chief Technology Officer, Clayton County Public Schools, Georgia

Rod Smith brings a unique blend of experience and skills, both technical and instructional. He currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Clayton County Public Schools, the 5th largest school district in the Atlanta metro area which serves 54,000 students. Rod previously held positions as a Technology Teacher, Instructional Technology Trainer, and Instructional Technology Coordinator. He is a Cisco Certified Network Engineer. Rod holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology Education from Virginia State University and a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University.
