Matthew Hailstone

Solutions Architect, Brigham Young University

Matthew Hailstone is a Solutions Architect for Brigham Young University. Matthew is very familiar with standards organizations having previously served as Chair of the XML Workgroup in the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) Technology Committee and also having been appointed Chair of the Architecture Workgroup in the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO). Matthew is currently a Co-chair of the EDUCAUSE ITANA API/Governance workgroup planning and holding monthly calls for higher education institutions across the United States. Matthew is also a Co-chair of the IMS Global Edu-API Task Force and has contributed to the IMS Global Comprehensive Learner Record specification. Matthew is recognized for his knowledge of blockchain technology and participates as a higher education advocate in the Linux Foundation sponsored Hyperledger Indy and Hyperledger Aries projects. Matthew holds a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University and an MS in Instructional & Performance Technology from Boise State University.
