At Indiana University, Matthew Gunkel serves as Director of Teaching and Learning Technologies, as part of the central IT organization (UITS). UITS's mission is to enrich IU's academic ecosystem, enable innovative pedagogy and information sharing through the effective use of technology, and enhance the student experience. Learning Technology is comprised of services related to the learning platform, accessibility, media production, system administration, support of students and faculty producing and presenting academic work, and supporting Indiana Universities teaching and learning community in the uses of educational technology through research, development, training, and assessment.
