QTI Validation Tool

QTI Validation Tool

As part of the QTI certification process, I was given access to a web application that validates QTI packages. It required a login. I cannot find this tool on the new site. Does it still exist?

Hi Michael,

Hi Michael,

The online validator is now available to IMS members only, as a benefit of membership. If you're an IMS member, be sure you're logged in and you can access the validator here: http://membervalidator.imsglobal.org/

If you're not an IMS member, you can learn about membership options and benefits here: https://www.imsglobal.org/imsmembership.html

Best,

Mark

Problem with single sign on on validator page

I'm a public member, but when I log in on the IMS Global website and from there go to: http://membervalidator.imsglobal.org/
I'm redirected to:

When I'm not logged, or force this by starting an incognito session, I log in again and voila: I have access.

It seems that there is a bug with single sign on (OAuth) on this page. Causing it seemingly not to be available for users. Could this be fixed?

Kind regards,

Hi Pieter,

Hi Pieter,

IMS is aware of this issue, and I believe it is being worked on. I think it is a bug in the LTI implementation used to launch the validator caused by something like the presence of an expired session cookie from a previous session. In any case if you open an Incognito window|InPrivate browsing window (or clearing all cookies would probably work as well) then it should work for you.

         All the best,

               Padraig

Cannot access QTI validator

I can't access the QTI validator either. I tried an incognito browser, regular Chrome session, and Firefox. I am also directed to: https://www.imsglobal.org/?lti_errormsg=Sorry%2C+there+was+an+error+conn....
