Transforming the College Digital Learning Environment (Part One)

1EdTech Consortium is partnering with the League for Innovation in the Community College on this webinar and a second webinar to be held in early February 2020. Part Two will explore digital credentials.

Event Date: Thursday, 21 November 2019
Event Time: 3:00 PM EST (UTC -5)
Duration: 60 minutes

Community and technical colleges leverage a variety of learning tools and interactive course content to support—and improve—the teaching and learning process. As your digital learning environment grows to meet the needs of all learners, instructors and instructional designers are challenged to create a seamless user experience without sacrificing innovation or choice. An open standards-based connected learning environment, where your edtech products work well together, gives instructors more flexibility to enhance the learning experience. It enables the institution to scale and sustain its digital strategy. This session will showcase the teaching and learning benefits of pervasive edtech interoperability standards and discuss new community initiatives for accelerating next-generation digital learning environments. Participants will hear examples from institutional leaders about ways they have been able to evolve their digital ecosystem for the best teaching and learning experiences.
