How to Achieve Trust and Transparency in Your Digital Learning Ecosystem

Access to digital learning tools and applications boomed last year as students and educators connected from homes and schools to learn. As the usage of digital applications expands, how do you help ensure your students’ data is safe?

Join us to learn about the 1EdTech TrustEd Apps Program—the 1EdTech community-driven process to vet teaching and learning apps and certify that they meet standards for data privacy.

Together, we will discover how to put this valuable information at your teachers’ fingertips with a customizable dashboard easily accessed from your existing tools. The TrustEd Apps Dashboard equips your teachers and staff with knowledge of which applications are approved by the district. Additionally, it provides detailed information on how the application meets the expectations of the privacy rubric and addresses the challenge of vetting applications.

Speakers:

  • Kate Crawford, Ed.S., Director, Digital Learning & Media Services, Fayette County Public Schools
  • Karen Daughtery, K-12 Program Manager, 1EdTech Consortium
