Communities of Practice at Work: Collaborating Across Institutions
This session takes communities of practice from concept to reality. Using the model established by the 1EdTech Consortium, this interactive forum will demonstrate how institutions are developing resources and artifacts that help accelerate the transition to the next generation digital learning environment. Participants will experience how COP members work collaboratively to articulate current challenges and develop resources and use cases. Resources developed to date will be shared. And recommendations gathered from in-session research will be used to identify additional resources/artifacts to help academic leaders, IT directors, and practitioners understand the importance, impact, and best practices around interoperability standards.
